About Me

[Dr. Wooten works with individuals, couples, families and groups specializing in traditional and experiential approaches to therapy. With over 20 years experience as a clinician, university professor, consultant and professional trainer Dr. Wooten has worked with a broad spectrum of clients and concerns. Presenting problems have ranged from parenting issues with children and teens to marital discord and from depression and anxiety to wanting to maximize potential in one's life.

In addition, Dr. Wooten has presented at national and international conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from enhancing  personal and marital relationships to body/mind psychotherapy. Furthermore, a significant area of interest and focus is sports counseling and sport enhancement. Dr. Wooten has worked with elite, college and professional athletes, as well as, school aged and high school athletes.
